And gosh, conquering the mystery of slow shutter speed photography is proving a fight. If only as a record for myself, I have to post yesterday’s effort. Any and all constructive criticism and advice gratefully received – don’t be scared of hurting my feelings… I’m already sobbing anyway.
This weeks theme for the Daily Post Photo Challenge is reward. Mine was this glorious sunset after having spent the afternoon in a bitterly cold, north wind. Although it may look beautiful, it was so cold, it got to the point where it hurt my fingers to press the camera button.
How the week flies by. Time for Leanne’s MMC post again. Looking through some photos taken last summer, I thought I have a go at the Krka waterfalls in B+W.

With a view to moving forward, I’ve bitten the bullet and joined a camera club. Last night, there was, after all the images of motor racing, a very interesting talk on taking photos of moving things. The best thing about it is, today for the first time, I was playing not just with shutter speed and aperture but…. ISO also. A first for me 🙂 I didn’t have racing cars so I thought I’d pick on the ever-present seagulls. I think I should have pushed the shutter speed up even higher though, as my subjects are still not as clear as I think I could have got them.
