If it’s worth having, it’s worth fighting for.

And gosh, conquering the mystery of slow shutter speed photography is proving a fight. If only as a record for myself, I have to post yesterday’s effort. Any and all constructive criticism and advice gratefully received – don’t be scared of hurting my feelings… I’m already sobbing anyway.

  1. Awww don’t sob! Is this your first crack at it? What aperture did you use? And ISO? I rarely do slow shutter speeds, only doing a couple long exposures, and was thinking of trying shorter ones out in the next couple months…IF I ever get around to it. lol

    1. Laura, I’ve been seriously playing around with filters and shutter speeds on and off for a couple of weeks now. In these shots, I took the ISO down to 100 and the aperture right up to its maximum – mostly. I think practice, practice, practice is the only solution for me – kinaesthetic learner LOL.
