Grey January in Bottle Alley

What can you do when it’s so wet, windy and dark by 4pm? We have a little undercover promenade that was built in the 30s known as Bottle Alley as the walls were decorated with recycled broken bottles – and we think recycling is a modern concept – which is where I spent a quiet hour earlier in January.

  1. Well, like you, it is images that rock my world. What’s in them, what’s been left out, how they’ve been framed, the focal point, the editing process… and I love the bottle alley images here (where is Bottle Alley?)

    1. Thanks, Sue. Bottle Alley is walkway under the promenade between Warrior Square and the pier. There’s talk that they are going to do it up when they’ve finished with the pier. We’ll see.
