Gold rush at Folkestone Triennial

As part of the Triennial arts festival in and around Folkestone, it seems an artist (Michael Sailstorfer) has buried a lot of pieces of gold, on a small part of the beach. We drove over to see some of the exhibits (more to follow) but this struck me as the beach was packed with all sorts of people, all laughing and joking and getting along which created a wonderful atmosphere.

    1. Hi Doublewhirler. That’s where I saw it. … An hour up the road from us…. Wanted to experience this and some of the other exhibits… Seemed like a good destination for a Sunday.
